(no subject)

Errrghhh. I haven't been able to write for days (which wreaks havoc with my digestive system--true story). It's also a problem because as seems to happen every time I've got a block to writing, I'm involved in multiple challenges or soon will be, including one I came up with myself!

I strongly prefer to finish one fic before starting another. "Kintsugi" wouldn't let me go, so now I'm working on a sequel, which gets longer, and longer, and longer ... which is depressing, because then I feel like if it's that long, maybe no one will read it (not like sequels are popular to begin with). Also depressing because, well, the story itself is incredibly dark. So I'm stuck in the middle of that and I can't see the opposite shore to when I might actually be done with that fic so I could start another. I might have to set it aside to work on some of my challenge fics, but I don't seem to have sufficient inspiration for them at the moment, or maybe the weight of the unfinished fic is sapping it away. Sigh.

In better news, I've discovered a love of greens. Sorry Misha, kale is disgusting, but chard on the other hand ... baby needs a new bunch of chard!

I'm not going to say it's the best episode ever, but there was so much to love. I guess even if Show is kind of a mess these days, this episode's winning charm and spirit of fun and how packed it was with Supernatural-ly goodness warmed my fannish heart.
