Nice to meet you as well! I read your profile, so I am prepared not to be offended if you don't reply. ;)
I fell in love with Kintsugi awhile ago, shortly after I discovered that fanfiction was a thing that existed, and before I learned to save my favorites and read other stuff by the authors I particularly liked. Thankfully, I found it again yesterday in a rec list and have been working my way through your stories since then.
You really have a marvelous way of shifting points of view, of getting inside various perspectives and making them real and believable. I'm generally a Sam girl myself (quite possibly because of the whole hurt, misunderstood puppy vibe he's got going that makes my maternal heart get all defensive), but I've truly enjoyed reading your depictions of Dean's and outside povs.
And I appreciate, too, how in Kintsugi/Broken, the hurt Sam has experienced doesn't just go away when Dean finds him. It doesn't even really get fixed at all; Dean just gets added to Sam's life as a positive, safe presence in the midst of all the hurt. Which makes a lot of sense, because suddenly finding your brother whom you thought didn't exist in a world that you only know to be terrifying and painful, when you're convinced that you yourself are the one true threat to everything good - well, that would hardly be enough to turn everything to rainbows and sunshine. But it is something, and it's a major something, and I just love how you handled his response to Dean's sudden presence in his life.
Anyway, I blather. Long story short: I love your fiction, hope you're still writing, and appreciate the friending!
