*(&^ -- You think I'm gonna be bored by this kind of so-called blather?! It gives me life, literally. One pours everything one has into these fics, and the lack of meaningful responses like this one can make it hard to keep going sometimes. I think I'm getting through that, but just know, this means SO MUCH to me, and that you took the time to express yourself.
I am still writing, mostly original fiction. I LOVE Sam and Dean, and fanfic is cool, but being able to create my own characters and do whatever I want with a story is where it's at for me most of the time. I do love the Episode Tag Club we've got going on over at spn_bunker, my comm, though. (Btw, you're most welcome over there; I think it's a place you would enjoy, and everyone is pretty nice/cool.)
I had a look at your lj. I don't know how you'd feel about someone commenting much on your life, but your upbringing fascinates me (and resonates for me; mine wasn't like that on the surface, but underneath there were significant similarities, with probably similar results), but if you wanted to, maybe we could talk about that stuff sometimes. I wrote a fic called "Angels at the Door" related to that stuff that I suspect you might enjoy; you can find it on my master fic list.
It DELIGHTS me to hear your thoughts on my fics, so please don't hesitate to comment as you read my stories, I will respond, and maybe it will lead to edifying discussions. I seem to be working through what I was going through (as mentioned on my profile) enough to interact pretty well on lj again now, especially if it's something really engaging and personal like this.
And it makes me SO, SO happy when you say I make various perspectives real and believable; I do feel that's one of my greatest strengths as a writer, so it's wonderful to read that it's shining through.
Thanks again for a wonderful comment. I hope very much that you continue to enjoy my work, and I'm glad to hear from you. Welcome to SPN fandom!
