Poor John, once so good and wholesome and innocent. :-( His character has always felt SO real to me; maybe he's based on one of the writers' actual fathers, because it's so specific and full of feeling, he just seems like an actual person. How do you write John?
Yeah, I figure when Dean got to be 16 or so, he must have recognized him. I wish they would address that in the series!
