Yeah, I had to write something to see what would happen if Dean DID finally let Sam go, and I like your thoughts on the matter, although I came to different conclusions after writing this fic--that Sam is literally Dean's 'addiction.' (I just posted a meta about it, if you're interested: http://brightly-lit.livejournal.com/37570.html) I like your theory, too, though. Those boys and their codependency ... Thanks for your thoughts.
