Ooh, I'm not sure most people even notice the description and I really enjoyed getting into that with this fic, so I'm glad you dug it. The holy water--it killed me, too, as soon as I thought of it ... but it just seemed so perfect to express poor Sam's self-perception. :-( So glad you enjoyed!
