Ahh, now see, I love that, too!! COPIOUS innuendo. Plus, another thing I love about this fandom is, I love to show love between friends and brothers in a physical way, or a way that's considered beyond the norm in American culture (like bed-sharing). EVERYWHERE ELSE, I'd have to worry, "Does the audience think I'm insinuating these brothers are having sex with each other?" whereas in this fandom, I know my only worry is the audience thinking, "Goddammit, why aren't they actually having sex with each other?!?" ;->

Yes, yes!! Half the things on that list are my favoritest things ever, too!! "Avoid alliteration always"? Gimme a break. Especially since I've totally seen literary critics swooning over writers that love their alliteration.

It really DOES work every time! And YES, making it not scary; that's been the key for me, too. That's actually what I really gained from NaNoWriMo, was the "just write!" mentality.
