Well ... I'm concerned they are taking Sam that direction, based on things Carver has said in interviews :-[], but I agree on the Lester thing--not a good idea to lead someone to the brink with the expectation of saving them, but he DID intend to save him. And hey, if that's as bad as Deanmon got, maybe 'bad Sam' will be no worse ...
