This is the first time anyone has ever podficced something of mine, and I cannot think of a single soul who'd be more desirable for the task than you, my love! I love everything about this. It may take my some time to get past the "I love the fact that this exists, period" portion of this comment, because that in itself is probably enough to occupy me for the rest of the year, but this is so, so lovely. As I said before, I love your voice, and your control of your reading voice, and what I love especially about the way you've done this recording is the way you work with whitespace--or I guess when it comes to audio, it's called dead air? Because you have this magical way of not only in the utilitarian sense of being able to read the section breaks where it makes it coherent and obvious even to an audio audience that doesn't have the benefit of little designatory dashes, haha, but also in the way that you let quiet occupy space, and move from part to part and sentence to sentence. It's so artful and confident and the end result is absolutely gorgeous. <33333333333 Looking back at the text of the fic I was just kind of like uh, okay self, that's... nice, I guess.
