Travel Dreams

I dreamt a lot about travel last night for some reason. First I dreamt that, in a moment of inattention that I spent the rest of the dream trying to live down, I'd arranged a nice vacation in the Pacific Northwest ... that involved a 7-hour plane flight on one of its days to Peru in order to enjoy mimosas while watching the sunset at the beach (then fly right back). And people actually got on that plane! (It WAS a pretty spectacular sunset.)

Then I dreamt there was some city in Ireland I'd supposedly been to (I've been to Scotland and England, but not Ireland) that was an incredibly long drive from the main towns but that I and one other person thought was totally worth the drive because the place was so beautiful, with magical meadows you could wander just outside of town, "like fairy-tale land."

So I guess the theme was "travel to very distant destinations, even if you doubt whether it was worth the trip, has its own rewards." Or something like that ...

I love both/all three of these dream destination ideas so much! YAAAY for travel! I know you feel this, too: I have to convince myself sometimes that it's worth the pain, but I would love to go to Peru or Ireland... especially a magical fairy-tale land. <3 <3

I live even closer to Ireland and still haven't gone, but it's one of my all time top destinations, I want to spend a Christmas in Ireland and one in Scotland :)

Yes! Oddly, Peru is not on my list of places I'd like to visit, but Ireland, heck yeah!
