When I was a little person movies were a life line to a world outside of the crap going on with my parents, so I tended to just dive in and stay there. I used to become quite obsessed with certain films and watch them over and over again!
We had a VHS player, and I almost wore out Fantasia, and I used to *shhhh don't laugh I was really little* play the parts of the people/characters on screen. So the pegasus and unicorns, I used to dance around the room like them, and then the dancing mops all trying to attack Mickey, I used to sit and stamp my feet in time, lol.
I have a healthy (okay maybe unhealthy) love of film, there's something about being able to disappear into another person's world for two hours, and with great story telling comes the ability to imagine yourself in their shoes!
The Winter Soldier is a fabulous film, actually I adore all the MCU films, but then again that's probably because comics were an escape as a child and teenager as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how they play out the Civil War plot, I'm intrigued to see if they stick to the original comic book plot, and slightly afraid at the same time!
