Yes, I like that you point this out. It's hard to write someone being scary from their own POV, so I tried to make it clear from Walt and Roy's reactions to Sam, and even Sam's reactions to himself, because you're right--scary!Sam is SCARY AS SHIT. Dean gets really mad and takes action but might very well soften up and have mercy at the last second, but if Sam has in his logical way concluded something needs to be done ... it'll get done. I figured people could decide whatever they wanted to see happen happened after the end, since Walt and Roy don't actually die on the page (I couldn't actually kill them, because it's just too much fun to have 'em around!). Maybe Sam and Dean lose them, or maybe they can't bring themselves to kill them in return ... or maybe they just put the fear in 'em, but they don't seem to be feeling terribly forgiving ....
