I'd actually been thinking about that (having driven from Colorado to San Diego around this time of year in a similar state of weather/highway clusterfuck--though thankfully I was not the one who had to drive), and thinking how pleasingly dry and bright your video was, since that's much more pleasurable for driving and you know, not feeling like cheating death. I'm sorry to hear that was NOT the case for your entire drive, because ugh ugh ugh. I'm so glad that you were able to make it home safely, and also that you were able to get to your sister's cabin instead of having to shell out for that--again, literal--highway robbery. Even then, though, that doesn't really mitigate what a horrible experience and drive home that must have been.
