I loved this so, so much. It is now my headcanon forever and these fandoms are eternally fused. Sam and Bucky are destined for each other. Who else could ever understand what they've been through? I adore Bucky's uncertainty and fragility-- he can kill anything, but emotionally, he's all raw need. And Sam's recognition, his keen understanding, his brave standing up to what's coming. And we all know Sam's a BAMF, but NO ONE could ever out-BAMF Bucky. I love the effortlessness of it, and I can't help loving to see Reggie get efficiently, thoroughly felled.
