Ahh ... lucky! Although Colo has amazing peaches and melons grown in-state that everyone goes crazy for when the season hits, so we're lucky, too. :-)
LOL, your love of kale and my loathing for it. KALE!! (Uttered as Kirk might "KAHN!!") It's true that it lasts longer than lettuce--sometimes I think it would outlast a nuclear explosion. ;-P But the price is bitterness, within and without. Then again, the lettuce I had today was pretty fuckin' bitter, too ....
