I haven't watched it yet, but I keep hearing completely opposite opinions which are leaving me so intrigued :D I also enjoyed the anime back in the day, and now my friends who also did either absolutely hate the live-action, or like you they loved it :D I haven't been watching much TV in the last couple of years but I still want to watch the first few episodes when I get back into the watching mood, make up my own opinion :D It's sooo nice when those adaptations hit right!! Gintama's a comfort watch by now haha. I feel like if that live-action adaptation looked so good, anything else also has a chance to be XD
