That is definitely a curious set of results. It seems to be less a matter of popular blogs than accounts that have RSS feeds subscribed to via feedly (because AO3 clearly is not a blog) which are classified as fandom ones.
So what that tells me is that fans who use feedly are primarily interested in staying up to date with LJ-diaspora people and events. Particularly strange are the AO3 tag feeds at the end. I'm baffled as to how these accounts get ranked since some with fewer followers are higher up on the list than some with more. Clint/Darcy is most definitely not a more popular pairing than Derek/Stiles!
