I watched some truly incredible shows last year ... but most of them were twelve episodes long.
Yeah, and there's often no telling if it will be back for a second season either. And what we have these days is often a "verse" fandom if you want a lot of content. So, for example, there's plenty of MCU stuff but if you want stories about a specific handful of characters, then that gets short real quick.
