That is extremely troubling about the censorship. I wonder if a lot of these sites find it easier to silence someone than to deal with other users' complaints about whatever they're saying. Being generous to GR, maybe there's a lot of ism-ing or attacks in the comments of these far-right books? And for some reason instead of taking it on a case-by-case basis, they're just shutting down the whole thing? That's how group administrators seem to handle it on FB; just shut down the whole comments section if it's going in a troublesome direction. For that matter, I see administrators do that here, too.
I guess private companies are allowed to do whatever they want, which puts freedom of speech in a precarious position, since so much speech these days takes place online and every social media site is a private company.
