(no subject)

So, I just started watching BBC's Sherlock (two episodes so far), and I mostly like it except ... is it always so sexist, or will that get better? I am a Cumberbatch fan, the production is excellent and the writing is pretty good, but I've never been a big Holmes fan, so the sexism might be a deal-breaker for me.

I loved Martin Freeman as Watson, basically because I find the cluelessness of the character kind of endearing :D Yes, I see what you mean by the show's attitude to women, but I feel like it's because the characters are created that way, there's the whole character filter thing going on...
