How come whenever I make a post that gets an unusually large number of comments on my lj, it always seems to end up with 69?

... Or do I need to ask?

It definitely has to do with it being divisible by three. There certainly aren't any other connotations for that number whatsoever! And if there are, they have nothing to do with the rabid orgiastic experience of being in fandom that just builds and builds and BUILDS and-----whoops!

:P

;-) Ah, three, of course, because there are no connotations for that number in this fandom, either. And, um ... did you just get something on my journal?

It's because when we get to 69 we all start giggling like school children and can no longer function well enough to comment.

I know what you mean. The place that I live in at the moment is my third address with the number 69. What's the universe trying to tell us? ;)

Bahaha--that is hilarious! In college, we had 5-number phone numbers on campus that began with a 6, and the sluttiest guy I knew got 69696. (He was delighted.) I also knew the girl who got 69666. Yes, she was kind of evil, and yes, she was also most pleased with her number.

I will leave my comment here as my contribution to this scientific, mathematical research we're doing here, AND I EAGERLY AWAIT THE OUTCOME. :-)

By my calculations, after this we will still need 61 comments. Let's get busy, y'all.

*sigh* No 69 for me this time, I'm afraid. ;-)
